The Economic Freedom Fighters gathered at the Thulamahashe stadium earlier today for the Workers’ Day rally.
The EFF’s Commander in Chief, Julius Malema started off by apologising for his late arrival, having left around 2:15 pm from their party’s May Day Rally in Alexandra (Gauteng). He then addressed the crowd; “We’re here to save the people of Bushbuckridge, you have been suffering for too long now.
“Nomvula Mokonyane once came and promised you water, but then she never came back, and even today, you’re still suffering!”
Malema further addressed the water crises that has seen some communities sharing drinking water with cattle, pigs and other domestic animals, and other issues faced by our communities.
He further promised the residents better service delivery, including the double amount of social grants both elderly and kids, should they elect the EFF into power.
