Four arrested for stolen laptops

A case of burglary has been opened after 25 laptops were stolen through breaking of a school safe on the 7th of September 2018 at Orhovhelani High School, Thulamahashe. Four suspects were arrested upon seizure of 20 laptops on this case through information from the public.

Of the 20 HP laptops seized, four of them were found in the presence of Tumelo Ndlovu (21), three were found from Musa Ndlovu (19) and another four from Kenneth Sithole (23) along with a black brother printer. A total of nine other laptops were seized from a 19 year-old Reason Ubisi.

The police are still on the lookout for the other 5 laptops yet to be recovered. The Cluster Commander Major General Dianah Mashele thanked the police officers for the quick response in arresting the suspects, and also said that the community members are sensitized not to buy stolen goods and that they should report any suspected criminal activities to the police.

According to Captain Mpho Nonyane, all suspects have been released on R1000 bail each, and will appear in court on the 25th  September 2018.
