Hazyview Police Station also hit by Corona virus.

A Covid-19 case has also led to the closure of Hazyview Police Station after one of the employees at the station tested positive for the virus. As a result, members of the public are advised to make use of a Community Service Centre at Hazyview Lowveld Mall next to Shoprite.

To access this station, the members of the public can also call 079 648 2184 for all emergencies and complaints and these will be attended to accordingly. The telephone lines at Hazyview Police Station will not be accessible for the duration of the closure. However, service delivery will not be hampered.

According to a statement by the Hazyview SAPS, the building will be decontaminated and services will resume on Saturday, the 16th of January 2021. The SAPS management in Mpumalanga said it would like to apologise for any inconvenience that may arise from this situation and that Hazyview Detective Branch Commander, Captain Eunice Sibuyi can be contacted on 082 449 0231 and Visible Policing Commander, Captain Shadrack Makwakwa can also be contacted on 061 513 4336.
