Vusheni fails to pay students stipends !

Bushbuckridge News has received a number of complaints about Vusheni Learning Academy’s failure to pay stipends to students placed under the Public Administration learnership, funded for by Public Service Sector Education & Training Authority (PSETA).
VLA were awarded a grant by PSETA to facilitate 50 public administration learnerships as a service provider to the youth around Bushbuckridge in September last year, and placed under different schools and municipal offices as part of their practical lessons.
The learners say VLA hasn’t paid them an amount of R2000 each for the past 2-3 months, and have been nowhere to be found for comment. It is believed that they have relocated from their offices in Nelspruit due to rental issues.
PSETA say they will visit Vusheni offices in Mbombela tomorrow as part of their monitoring sessions and also to find out why the learners have not been paid.
