Madiba Youth Organisation wrapped up the youth moths under the theme, ‘Youth Power’ growing South Africa together in the period of COVID-19. ‘The theme is rallying call for youth to play their part in curbing the spread of coronavirus’, said Mr. Adam Sibuyi who is the founder of Madiba Youth Organisation
Madiba Youth Organisation and Bushbuckridge Ladies Football Club in partnership with Djuma Private Game Reserve has donated 20 bags of cement, 15 face cloth masks, and R1800 cash as part of food parcels giveaway. The donation was given to the group of unemployed youth who are volunteering in fixing the main road from Cottondale to Manyeleti on 29 June 2020.
The youth has been struggling to fix the road since the beginning of June without any financial assistance from the government. ‘This project is funded by local business individuals that understood the idea after Frank Fumani Mnisi who is the founder of Nyeleti Funeral Service shares it with them.
Many youths today are in dire need of support like this where they get encouraged to do great with their lives so this kind of opportunity will open doors for other business people to come and aid the youth, especially in our country during this time where the country is faced with many challenges. This kind of gesture will empower more youth in doing good also for their communities. We need more people like this in our communities who are going to provide for the youths so they can keep on doing great things with their lives. During this youth month, it is a great opportunity for our youth in the country to explore and become better people at the end of the day.
